Chris Martin recognized for Atlanta Beltline photography

Chris is a commercial and lifestyle photographer specializing in portraits. Chris has perfected the art of striking the perfect balance between honesty and beauty in his images.

Atlanta Beltline

As the largest urban redevelopment project in the United States, the Atlanta Beltline is a 22-mile loop of pedestrian-friendly trails, parks, and green space that has taken over a decade to come to fruition. When complete, it will connect 45 neighborhoods and provide 1,300 acres of new parkland. The Beltline has already had a positive impact on the city of Atlanta, and many believe it will be a catalyst for continued growth and development.

Chris documented the progress of the project from the very beginning, and says it’s been fascinating to see the transformation of the landscape and the neighborhoods that the Beltline passes through.

Capturing Community Engagement

Martin’s photos offer a glimpse into the past, present, and future of the Beltline and the city of Atlanta. They provide a unique perspective on the project, ways the community is engaging in the development process, and its impact on the city. Chris’ Beltline imagery has also helped to facilitate international conversations about the use and development of green spaces in communities.

Chris now shares his creative direction with Content Matters, helping our clients convey the impact that they make.
