I do a little bit of everything. Some days you’ll find me writing and other days I’ll be developing a brand strategy or researching audience personas. I love the variety of the work and the consistent creative culture.
I’ve always loved to write. As a teenager, I wrote short stories in five-star, spiral notebooks, most of which I still have! After studying journalism and psychology in college, I landed in advertising and later brand marketing and content strategy. This world allows me to write for a living while helping clients build community in business and beyond.
First thing in the morning you’ll find me reading the New York Times and scrolling my Apple News feed. In the afternoon, I’ll take a break and catch up on Instagram or Pinterest and read The Cut. I’m always in the middle of a book, mostly contemporary fiction and I love magazines. It’s a good day when the latest issue of Bon Appetit or Vogue lands in my mailbox.
Cooking with my husband Matt, We are slowly “cooking the books” and making our way through our 100+ cookbooks. I also love hanging with our wire-haired mutt, Walter, seeing live music, visiting museums, and traveling to places off the beaten path, like small NC towns and most recently the Scottish Highlands. Have you opened a new location, redesigned your shop, or added a new product or service? Don't keep it to yourself, let folks know.
